1. Introduction
Rapid Results (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a mobile and web application for licensed home inspectors to create, manage, and deliver home inspection reports to their clients. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information in connection with the App.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: name, email address, company name, phone number, and license number.
Inspection content: property addresses, inspection findings, photos, signatures, narratives, and other report content you create.
Client information: names, email addresses, and phone numbers of your clients that you enter into the App.
Payment information: billing details and saved payment methods are processed and stored by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We retain only the last four digits of the card and a non-reversible fingerprint for fraud prevention.
Device and usage data: a device identifier, IP address, app version, operating system, and crash logs, used for fraud prevention and to maintain service reliability.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and operate your account and provide the features of the App.
- To process payments and subscriptions through Stripe.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized account creation.
- To send transactional emails and SMS messages (verification codes, agreement signing requests, report links).
- To comply with applicable laws and respond to legal requests.
4. AI Processing
The App uses third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude via Emergent and, optionally, OpenAI) to generate professional narratives from your inspection notes. Inspection text and images you send through the AI features are transmitted to these providers for processing. We do not use your data to train AI models. AI providers may temporarily retain submissions for abuse monitoring per their own policies.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the following categories of service providers, each contractually limited to the purposes below:
- Stripe — payment processing and Stripe Connect Express payouts.
- Emergent / Anthropic / OpenAI — AI processing of inspection content.
- Resend / Twilio — transactional email and SMS delivery.
- Cloud infrastructure — hosting providers used to operate the service.
Public report-share links generated by the inspector contain only the inspection content; access is controlled by a long random token and may be revoked at any time by deleting the share link.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and inspection content for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from inside the App (Profile → Delete Account). Upon deletion we permanently remove your user record, inspections, clients, reports, agreements, chat history, OTP codes, and saved payment methods. Anonymized fraud signals (hashed device IDs, IPs, payment fingerprints) may be retained for up to 12 months strictly to detect repeat abuse.
7. Children
The App is intended for licensed professional inspectors and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit using TLS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never stored on our servers in plaintext. We use access controls and routine monitoring to protect data at rest.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
10. International Users
Rapid Results is operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer of your information to the U.S.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
